General Information

Many homeowners have never filed an insurance claim and may be unaware of the procedures involved or the extent of their coverage.
Storm related damage might not be detected by a casual inspection. There are specific insurance procedures utilized by insurance personnel and professional contractors to determine covered damage. At Ground Zero Roofing, our field estimators are schooled on these procedures.

This can seem like a daunting task - even more so when neighbors or relatives add their advice. At Ground Zero Roofing, we have structured our business to make the replacement process as painless as possible to you, the homeowner.

We will professionally handle your claim

  • Review the adjusters summary to ensure all items are included
  • Meet with representatives from the Insurance Company
  • Perform work covered with quality material and workmanship
  • Submit final invoice to the Insurance or Mortgage company for payment

We will work with your insurance company to insure a complete and full assessment so the repairs can be handled properly.  In most cases, the only out of pocket expense incurred using Ground Zero Roofing is your deductible. Occasionally there may be damage that is not covered by your insurance policy. Please ask your sales representative if you have any questions or would like a deeper explanation on a specific area.

Payment

Payment is due only upon completion of the contracted work.  If there are a number of contractors to be used, such as roofing, guttering, painting, etc., each portion is payable upon completion.  At Ground Zero, we give you a Customer Disbursement Sheet at the beginning of the job that outlines how the payments will be made.  We understand that in many cases the insurance company
